What happens in Inception?

In the movie, Cobb is approached by a wealthy businessman named Saito (played by Ken Watanabe) who hires him to perform an “inception,” which is the process of planting an idea into the subconscious of another person, rather than stealing it.
To do this, Cobb assembles a team of specialists, including Arthur (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Eames (played by Tom Hardy), Yusuf (played by Dileep Rao), and Ariadne (played by Ellen Page), who is responsible for designing the dreamscape where the inception will take place.
The team travels through multiple dream levels to plant the idea in the mind of Robert Fischer Jr. (played by Cillian Murphy), the heir to a business empire that threatens Saito’s own business interests. As they progress through the different dream levels, the team faces numerous obstacles and challenges, including the projections of Fischer’s subconscious mind, who try to stop them from succeeding.
Throughout the movie, Cobb also struggles with his own personal demons and guilt over the death of his wife, Mal (played by Marion Cotillard), who appears in his dreams as a dangerous and disruptive force, threatening to derail the mission and endanger the lives of the entire team.

What Happens at the end of Donnie Darko?
The ending of “Donnie Darko” is intentionally ambiguous and has been the subject of much debate and interpretation. Here is a brief explanation of what happens:
In the final scenes of the movie, Donnie realizes that he is the one who caused the time loop that led to his own death. He understands that he must die in order to prevent the end of the world, and he decides to sacrifice himself by staying in his bedroom when the jet engine crashes into his house. As the countdown reaches zero, Donnie sees a vision of Frank and Gretchen, and then the screen goes black.
The following scenes show the consequences of Donnie’s actions. The jet engine that would have killed him instead crashes into his house, destroying it and killing his mother and sister. We see the people in Donnie’s life, including Gretchen, waking up with a sense of confusion and disorientation, as if they have just experienced something strange and profound. The final shot shows a time-travelling artifact called an “artifact,” which is revealed to be a duplicate of the jet engine that crushed Donnie’s bedroom.
The ending can be interpreted in many different ways, but one common interpretation is that Donnie’s sacrifice was necessary to reset the timeline and prevent the end of the world. Some viewers see it as a metaphor for the struggle between fate and free will, or the idea that sometimes we must make difficult choices to save others. Others believe that the events of the movie are all in Donnie’s mind and that the ending represents his release from his own delusions. Ultimately, the interpretation of the ending is left up to the viewer’s own interpretation and imagination.
