Dads Love Sportchek – Your Father’s Day Shopping List
At last, it’s almost Father’s Day.
Being a Dad is an incredible responsibility with so many wonderful memories made everyday. My daughter keeps me busy and happy and I’m loving every minute of it.

I was doing some thinking about what I’d like as a gift for Father’s Day, as well as what I’m going to buy for my own Dad and I spent most of the thought process mentally walking around Sportchek. Luckily, they’ve asked me to write a shopping list that I’m sure my fellow Dads would all appreciate on their special day.
New shoes for running around all summer. All my shoes are far too hot to wear on the long, hot days of June through August. On top of that, my work shoes look ridiculous when I’m wearing shorts.
The Nike Men’s Flex Control II are cool, comfy and perfect for even the longest of walks to the local pool.
My face just isn’t cut out for all this sun, so a hat in my Father’s Day stocking (that’s a thing, right) would be perfect. The mesh-backed Oakley Chalten Men’s Cap will keep my burnable nose in the shade, and my head breezy.
I can’t say enough good things about SAXX underwear. It’s the type of design (without going in to too much detail as my Mum will read this), that makes all your other undies feel like trouser-jails. There are some cool patterns to pick, but as long as they say SAXX, you’re golden.
While it’s unlikely I’ll wake up on Father’s Day morning with an Apple Watch at the end of the bed, I might as well put it in the list, just in case there’s a fellow Dad who gets one. What’s not to like? They can track your fitness, let you know if you’ve got a text, play songs, and even make calls.
In the interest of keeping cool when I’m not in my work clothes, a few t-shirts would be lovely. There are some fun designs from North Face, like this ‘Take a Hike’ one.
As a new-ish resident of Vancouver, I think it’s about time I got a Canucks Jersey. Even if I never get around to going to the game, I can blend in on the Sky Train.
Any of these would be super-sweet to receive on Sunday, June 17th, in addition to, of course, a homemade card and mug of coffee while in bed.
Disclaimer: Thanks to Sportchek for sponsoring this post. All opinions, product pics, and words are my own.
