Salt Spring Coffee Giveaway
From my other posts, you may have gathered that I’m a big fan of coffee. It has to be really, really good, and when the brand is organic and is a force for good, they can’t go wrong.
I’m really happy to announce that, to encourage us all to give up disposable coffee cups, my friends at Salt Spring Coffee, have given me a 400g bag of coffee and a 12 oz black stainless steel tumbler to give away!
This prize is for CANADA only and closes on April 1st 2017 – Hurry!

I try to reduce the amount of waste my family produces
Catherine BrownMarch 22, 2017 at 6:13 pm
I prefer not to use them as they fill up the landfill.
joyMarch 22, 2017 at 6:15 pm
I hate seeing so many coffee cups littered around our streets — if more people used reusable cups, our neighbourhood would look better!
CharityMarch 22, 2017 at 6:32 pm
I’m giving up disposable cups as it’s part of my decision to go zerowaste.
Joni WMarch 22, 2017 at 6:33 pm
I never really used disposable cups, and if i do I wash them because they’re too nice to just throw out.
GordMarch 22, 2017 at 6:37 pm
I gave up disposable cups years ago. I swear the flavour of my coffee is not the same in a disposable cup. I prefer my glass travel mug for my coffee.

To save the amount we waste!! We really need more ppl to do this!
Janet MMarch 22, 2017 at 7:33 pm
I am giving them up because of the environment. We try to reduce as much as we can.
Andrea AmyMarch 22, 2017 at 7:37 pm
I generally don’t have coffee out a lot except during rolluptherim time. I maybe have one coffee out each week. Its more affordable and better for the environment for me to make my coffee at home each day, and that is why i choose to make coffee at home!

I never use disposable cups, personally. Hubby on the other hand is not so diligent. The daily travel to Timmy’s will be the most challenging but I vow to make him take a travel mug instead. I am a huge reduce, reuse and recycle fanatic, so I love this challenge.

I’ve already given them up – it makes the earth happy, and the lids aren’t popping off all the time!
Suzanne GMarch 23, 2017 at 2:11 am
I have not used disposable cups for a few years as there are so many great travel mugs to choose from. I like to try and reduce waste as much as possible and disposable cups is something that is easy for anyone to do.

I am trying to give up disposable drinking cups because they require a lot of trees to make them. such a waste of trees when we can use our own cup.

Because I want a healthy Earth for my daughter and for all future generations to come.
Shelley HickeyMarch 24, 2017 at 11:26 am
I hardly ever use disposable cups as I want to leave a very small foot print when I leave.
Brad KinchenMarch 24, 2017 at 2:55 pm
I make it a point to always have a go-cup with me so I can avoid using disposables.
Betty SMarch 25, 2017 at 10:03 pm
I do my best to keep litter to a minimum. Coffee tastes better when not in a plastic cup
Erin WMarch 26, 2017 at 6:52 pm
I’ve already given up on paper cups, I try to always have my mug with me! I hate the thought of all that waste.

They are a plague upon our environment.

I much prefer drinking out of my reusable mug. It tastes better and isn’t wasteful.

I rarely use disposable cuts to begin with , I would rather not contribute to the carbon footprint so negatively .
