Review: OSIM uCozy 3D Neck and Shoulder Massager

All this working from home has me hunched over my laptop and ending each day stiff and uncomfortable.

Thankfully, the lovely people at OSIM reached out to me and asked me if I’d like to try out the OSIM uCozy 3D Neck & Shoulder Massager. Yes. Yes, I would.

It’s designed to work on your neck, lumbar, thighs, or calves and has twin rotating pressure ‘kneeding nodes’ under the fabric. The heating mode can be either on or off with a press of the mode/power button.

The strap at the back means it can go over the headrest of your car seat or around the lumbar section of an office chair, which is really nice. The heating part doesn’t really get that hot, only slightly warmer and I also found the power cord disconnects without much effort, so I put a piece of electrical tape to keep the plug-end of the cord slipping out of the pillow adapter. Other than that, it seems nicely made and is comfortable to lean up against.

As soon as I got it and pushed against my neck it felt amazing. Like the long-awaited massage I’ve needed since everything closed. Also, since I work 9-5 and have Dad-life around that, getting time for a proper massage isn’t really an option. This is a great solution and would be a great Father’s Day gift (hint, hint!).

While I’ve only given this a few tries, and I don’t have any real injuries, just a sore back from lifting my daughter into our low car and having awful posture when I’m using the computer, it sure is a welcome therapy. If you’re looking for something to take the edge off between seeing a professional RMT, this should do the trick and loosen up some muscles.

Oooh! I could totally use this. So much time in front of the computer and the lack of RMT/chiro visits has really gotten to me.

Interesting! No RMT for 2 months makes mama sore. Maybe this will be an option.
