Getting Easier Santa Photos at Metrotown , Gift Wrapping, and Holiday Hours

This year, Metropolis at Metrotown is taking your Santa photos experience to another level. They’ve truly thought about the journey that we take when visiting the man in red.

First of all, the SMS text to return system is back. You just register at one of their kiosks and then you have the option of leaving the line to get something to eat or continue shopping before coming back to see Santa.

You can also send a text to Guest Services – 604-359-9111 for assistance while in the mall or planning your trip to the mall. Inquire about finding a store, mall hours, parking, children’s stroller, and more. It’s available during mall hours.

The lines to see Santa can get seriously long, so if you can come early in the season and early in the day, you’ll save yourself some time.

SANTA PHOTOS HOURS:

Monday-Saturday: 11am-1pm, 2pm-5pm, 6pm-8pm.
(November)Sundays: 11am-2pm, 3pm-6pm
(December)Sundays: 11am-1pm, 2pm-5pm, 6pm-8pm
*5pm close Christmas Eve*

After the line, you’ll walk into Santa’s grotto and the kids can play on some really fun interactive games that are projected on to some big screens for other people to watch and cheer them on. There will also be colouring and activity sheets that can also be turned into letters to the North Pole.

We met Santa today and he’s lovely. He’s been visiting the children at Metropolis at Metrotown for 30 years! If you’ve been really good all year long, you’ll get a candy cane as well as your photos!
